Ondřej Klíma
Ondřej Klíma is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Management, Mendel University in Brno, Czech Republic. His research lies at the intersection of cultural sociology, digital society, and game studies, with a particular focus on video games as social and cultural institutions. His work draws on civil sphere theory and employs both qualitative and quantitative methods to examine how digital technologies, gaming communities, and public discourse shape contemporary society. He is also interested in research methodology, digital transformation, education, and societal resilience, contributing to interdisciplinary projects that connect sociology with management, informatics, and public policy. His current research develops the concept of the gaming sphere as a framework for understanding the social meanings, institutions, and controversies surrounding digital games.
